Liverpool 1 - 1 Wigan
A great result for us today against a team who had shown a real change in their attitude over the last month or so.
Liverpool seemed a little flat today with just a few players looking the part, again Meireles and Suarez impressed, they could become legends for Liverpool over the next few years, but very few others put in much of a performance.
From our view point, we were lucky to end with XI as 9 times out of 10 Caldwell would have been sent-off, but we played good passing attack minded football, or at least tried to, for the whole game.
Our midfield looks stronger and more settled as each match is played and the extra pace and desire of McCarthy and Moses are a welcome change from some of the lacklustre displays before their return from injury.
Was our goal a fair one or was it off-side?
I couldn't tell for certain on my feed, even with a few slowmo replays, but whether it was legal or not, Gohouri got us a well faught point.
We still lack much of a killer instinct up front, but we're definitely getting better and with a little luck at both ends of the field; like we had today; we're far from being relegation certainties.
The draw between West Ham and West Brom was a perfect result for us, if only Stoke could have won too, it would have been a really good day for us, as it is, I'm still very happy with a point at Anfield and still expect to see PL football at the DW next season.
