Super League Wakefield

The RFL are offering words of support and encouragement to Wakefield Trinity Wildcats in the midst of their slide into administration. So, can someone please tell me how deducting points from a club in trouble "helps" ? assuming the RFL are "fair" and even handed (which is a big assumption) then it would be logical to assume that a 6 poind deduction would be applied to Wakefield. By definition, any side that needs to win three games before their season starts is at a disavantage. This can not be right, kicking a side when they are down is not a progressive formula in anyones books. The RFL needs to find a way to work with clubs in trouble in a way that does not penalise their difficulties but assists in a posative way by adopting a hands on Pro-Active way out of difficulties. Everyone in the wider sporting world knows that Rugby League administration is a bit of a joke, but when it comes to one of our oldest, most famous clubs the joke shouldnt be on them ! Its time the RFL took a fresh look at the issue of administration and came up with an action plan of genuine help, not just nice words followed by a swift kick in the balls !!!
