Live - Tuesday football

comment on the article

So... caught your breath yet folks?

Well forget about Transfer Deadline Day, welcome one and all to Title-Race Tuesday. You know, because Arsenal, Chelsea and Man Utd are all in action this evening. Oh, with a bit of the Battle of the Ws (West Brom-Wigan) thrown in. Ahem.

I probably need to work on my monikers. Anyone got an idea for a 'branding' we could use tonight?

Here's our line-up this evening...
Arsenal v Everton (1945)
Man Utd v Aston Villa (2000)
Sunderland v Chelsea (1945)
West Brom v Wigan (2000)

news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/foo...

And we've also got more matches in the Championship and Lower Leagues than you could shake a fat cat's cheque book at, too. Football League Danny is your man for all that chat.

Who fancies kicking off the chat then?

Arry and any number of Spuds players are equally despicable.

Hey Gooner my main man

ok

its obvious City aren't going to win it so i would be more than happy for the Gunners to beat Yoonited to it and hopefully Arry's boys can finish tenth after another San Siro mauling,

laugh

I wish you'd stop with all the Rio Ferdinand twitter updates, nobody cares! (from a bitter Aston Villa fan).

I don't think West Ham will go down, Wolves will, Wigan will & West Brom will & Birmingham are as strong as Birmingham so I don't think they will, so Unless Blackpool take a serious nose dive, & I genuinely hope they don't, that's who I feel will go down.

Really dont know mate, its not as though he is saying anything profound (as if he would!).

Maybe they think we are all gagging for run of the mill football cliche blurb.

Arsenal are defo challenging now.

Thats me done.

Now look at how vulnerable Arsenal are at home? United have dropped points mainly because they've been complacent and careless away from home and given up goals uncharacteristically late in games, early in the season when fitness / concentration wasn't all there.

----------------

That sounds like a hell of a lot of excuses for United, but Arsenal are not allowed the same excuses then erm

I can't understand how Arsenal can expect to win the title with four (4) home defeats smiley
