League One Colchester United

signed nathan clarke from hudds til end of the season! decent loan signing id say! only ever played for hudds and been a first teamer regulary up until this season but suffered injuries. might lack match fitness though with hudds not being in a reserve league but its a good opportunity for him to prove himself and do a job for us at the same time.

More positive than negative I'd say... or better than expected.

he could get homesick as hes never been to another club and he may miss his brother tom but on the hudds official message board most of em are a little disappointed hes going as they consider him as their second best cb but we will see how he goes, cant be any worse than what we have at present

on loan again.
and if we are wanting play offs and are contending with the likes of huddersfield do we really need an unused centre back, think about it he must not be that good seeing so huddersfield are competing with us. not the best signing especially on loan.

"been a regular first teamer until this season when he suffered injuries" answers your question coluloyal?

Also your point works in theory but it isn't really like that in real life, managers play different players, prefer different players, players lose form and can't get back into the side etc. Think about Fox under Aidy and under Lambert - Aidy didn't play him then Norwich signed him... just because players don't play doesn't mean they are necessarily worse.

He normally plays for Huddersfield anyway!

Sounds like a good signing, maybe another defender though to cover for injuries?

Up the U's!

only time will tell, hopefully a 3-0 home win tomorrow to set the ball rolling smiley

he's a great addition to your squad he's been a great defender for the terriers he's only out of our team because we have jamie mccombe and peter clarkeand other players that play really well in that position he's better than mccombe in my oppinion i hope he does well for you guys and stan_cufc he wont get homesick and even if he did miss tom im sure he wouldnt let it effect his performances you guys are lucky to have him he should be in our team
