Bullard to Ipswich?

Championship Hull City

Just read that we might be loaning Jimmy out to Ipswich and i'm not very happy about it. If we do loan him out it will mean we're paying atleast half of his wages. I'd much rather we played him, than see another club benefiting from him while we foot most of the bill. The only thing i can think is that Nige is hoping to get some offers for him off the back of this in the summer? But i can't see any other championship clubs stumping up his wages. So what do you reckon? Is Belaid gonna be a better option? Or does this just mean Pearson is gonna stick with the Harper/Ash partnership that i know a lot of us aren't happy with. Personally i'd like to see him play regularly for us but i know people have mixed opinions on the bloke.

Our board hard up?

I don't think so after the new owners have recently paid off all our 30m debt, spent 2.5m on our new strike force and are now looking to buy the KC Stadium from the Council.

Your welcome to JB.

We've been offering him around to anyone who'd have him for a year now, the past six months we've only been looking for 15k of his wage to be paid and I assume that the amount will be somewhere between the 10-15k quoted.

He's not making the team at the moment, we've just signed Belaid and he might well get injured in the next few weeks, at which point we'll all be saying how clever it was to get over 200k of his wages paid by someone else.

This is strike one. Please say in the contract we said he can't play against us at portman road. Otherwise a winnable match has become a bit harder. Why oh why did we not start bullard ahead of harper. I swear we must play harper to make the rest of the midfield look really good. He has replaced garcia's role

Can you enlighten me as to what had happened with Bullard. When you were in the prem and he wasn't injured he was probably the only bright spark, how can he now be 6th choice in a struggling Championship side.
I'm quite happy with this signing as we lack a bit of bite in midfield, but I am curious as to whats gone wrong.

Normally the club taking on a loan player can terminate the arrangement with a days notice (as can the club loaning out the player after the first month). Now, I can see why, in Bullard's case, Hull would want Ipswich to agree to waive this right. But I can't see why Ipswich would agree to it, given his notoriously fragile body, and given that they are not fighting other people to sign him.

Struggling Championship side?

You're a bit behind the times, we've only lost one in the last thirteen, we've just added the following players to our squad:

Matty Fryatt(Leicester, 1.2m)
Aaron Mclean(Peterborough, 1.3m)
James Chester(Man United, 300,000)
Vito Mannone(Arsenal, Loan)
Corry Evans(Man United, loan)
Brad Guzan(Villa, loan)
Tijani Belaid (Slavia Prague, free).

We now have Koren, Ahsbee, Cairney, Harper, Evans and Belaid who can play central midfield.

Belaid just signed today, as Jimmy's replacement, check him out:
