I think Holloway is getting confused about the price of Adam, there’s no question that he’s priceless to you, but in the real world
he would struggle to maintain a decent standard football at a bigger club, let’s not get carried away, he’s had a good half a season with a club punching
well above their weight, if he goes to Liverpool et al he will be found out, a move to Wigan or Wolves may well be better for him, but is that a step up?
in the market today he is worth 5m tops…

cornish

regardless of where he got the experience Adam has also played in the Champions league and held his own. Dont knock his time at rangers too much. 100 games there at his age was good when he battled some good players for central midfield.

So bent only played in english top two leagues 18m.

Adam played in top two leagues and champions league experience.

You underestimate how clubs view CL experience, look at Liverpool taking Wilson from Rangers. only had about 10 starts but half in CL.

Down there Adam is worth 10m

His worth varies from club to club. At Blackpool his is £10-15mill. This is because he will be a absolutely huge reason they stay up this season if he stays. Staying up is worth about £30-40mill. If they sell him they are risking going down as he is such an influential player to THEM. Therefore they will ask for more (probably) than his value in general footballing ability. Whereas Liverpool are looking at him on football ability and pedigree which is arguably less than Blackpool's valuation. There may be a bit of big club bullying.

I admire Blackpool for not being bullied into a deal they aren't comfortable with and I'm glad they didn't do the normal thing give into Adam's demands to leave. He is their player so they can choose what they do with him.

Well done Holloway and Blackpool, hopefully you can help change the mentality of the league.

Canny of SAF to try and ratchet up the price tag for Liverpool to pay last night. 'His corner kicks are worth £10m alone.'

Even when they're 20 years off their perch, he doesn't stop kicking, does he?

Anyway, he's worth whatever Blackpool can convince someone to pay for him, whether that's £5 million or £20 million.

Do people honestly think that he lacks experience. He has already proven himself, " Oh he hasn't played in a big team", What kind of idiotic comment is that. Its harder to play in a worse club. By playing and winning at Blackpool he is gaining more real experience as he is on the under dogs side every time. Yet he still bosses the midfield. He would slip straight into the Liverpool side no doubt. I think an agreed value if £10million would be fair. But i want him to stay at Blackpool till the end of the season. Then move on.

Good for Holloway.

Adam is worth a lot, lot more to Blackpool than he is to any other club in the Premier League.

No-one at Blackpool will be complaining if he helps keep them up and then leaves in the Summer, but, to try and sign him now, unsettle the player, the team, and, quite honestly, insult Blackpool with the fee (Lyon got £6.5 Million for Makoun who has never played in the Premier League) thinking they'd just capitulate, else use their interest to make the player ask for a move, therefore undermining Blackpool in the process, is typical big club arrogance.

Hope he stays, they stay up, and then get a good fee for him in the Summer.

Adam only worth 5 mill?
Quote from Fergie: 'His corners alone were worth 10 million.'

Anyway, what does Fergie know?

"end of"

<laugh>

...grow up

The club set a valuation for their player - what they think he's worth - then the clubs perusing said player assess whether that matches near enough to the amount of money they're willing to spend. Standard transfer market behaviour. premiervilla gives perfect examples of players worth different amounts to different teams depending on their circumstances.
