His most redeeming feature- at least he isnt Daryl Murphy.

In all seriousness though he may not be the most prolific striker but if he has the ability to challenge in the air and support Hooper or Stokes up front I'll be happy. I havent seen the 6 ft 4 guy we've been linked with but its from the same part of our network that gave us Kayal so if I were Neil I would be tempted to look into it. This guy could also fulfil the target man role.
On another note i'd be looking to step up our efforts to get Wilson in ASAP. With Hooiveld off to Denmark theres room in our squad for a central defender.
Im hoping that the scouts are on the lookout for a keeper to come in permanently in the Summer.

Not convinced. If we were to go to Everton for a striker why didn't we move for Yakubu ? I think he'd fit right into our system - able to play up their on his own or with Gary Hooper.

I'm happy that this move fell through, considering the absurd 250K "rental" fee. It brings back bad memories of H. Camara's 1M loan deal.

I don't know what Rasmussen has done to upset us but apart from Hooper none of the current strikers seem better than him. Stokes, in particular, needs to sharpen up or ship out.

He has already played for Palace and Everton this season.

It's possible, though not confirmed, that Everton *&^%ed up the deal by sticking him on for 16 minutes in the derby last weekend.

It's also possible that it was never on in the first place.

He tweeted not half an hour ago that he "can't believe my luck. Feel like crying".

I'm kind of gutted to be honest, really liked him as a player and though he'd do a great job for us up front.
