Sacking the manager and replacing him with a novice isn't always the most inspired move - have a look at this .....

Did you write that, Pencilpete?

If it was yours, I wouldn't go advertising it. Funny you didn't get round to mentioning Kenny Dalglish or Kevin Keegan (first time for both), or have a look at the current League 1 table with Brighton at the top, Bournemouth in third, and Huddersfield in fourth, all with novice managers.

At any rate, this line is deeply silly

"If you see one of these guys sitting in the Press Conference putting pen to paper on a 3 year deal itís best to start looking up Scunthorpe and Barnsley on the map"

What sort of numpty needs to look up Barnsley and Scunthorpe on the map? Maybe for directions, but they're hardly 'unheard of'. Barnsley have even been in the Premier League. <erm>

Pencil <laugh> experts column? they'll publish anything on the net won't they <laugh>

Do you also write the ads for injurylawyersforyou?

Ask Hull what they thought about it last time Mr Parkinson was sacked and replaced with first team coach Phil Brown?
