Fantastic result today, 16 changes from both sides yet we were still too strong for them, most possession, shots on/off target, corners, etc. With AL signing on the dotted, Nige telling us all that Oxo is not going anywhere(after Adam signing I believe him 100pc) and now we knock out a Prem side!! Please excuse me I am going to combust! OWTSGMI!!!!

Channon - top post. Cant wait for Saint Harry and ASNC to reply. Maybe they'll put a bit more thought into it! Good luck for the rest of the season. Hope you go up (in 2nd of course!).

Yeah okay then, point taken. They were just scared of our attacking prowess, and their tactics worked for them! biggrin

And you should add: 'and they are still six points ahead of us.' smiley

Can't argue with them six points. Those are the scores on the doors.

Brighton came out of the traps like a long-dog.

As a Southampton Uni student, I was going to come home from Christmas slightly early to see todays game until Holloway said he'd put ou his second string. Lets hope the saint pull a bigger side out the hat so I can see that tie instead

Wouldn't mind lower sides as I said before. I like being in the cup...rather play Arsenal at Wembley than the Emirates. Winning games does wonders for morale. On the other hand, we play better against better sides because they give us the space to play. I give up...must be why I'm not a football manager.

I was walking on the beach in Los Angeles and heard the St Mary's cheers.

2-0 against prem league.......goodness gracious me, times have changed.

Good positive play from Adkins and his men.
