I know that there are several threads below discussing Parky's sacking, but I feel very angry about this situation.
Parky has done a decent job with no funds. The board have sold all of his best players and he has done his best to get on with limited resources.
We missed out on automatic promotion by a few points and suffered the heartache of the lottery that is a penalty shoot-out. No one can blame Parky for that.
He has been stabbed in the back- the sale of Richardson for example was a disgrace.
Michael Slater has gone back on his word within the space of 3 days- he said that Parky had his full backing.
Parky is a Charlton man, despite what his critics say. Those of us that do actually go to all of the home and away games have a great affiliation with Parky.
The appointment of Dennis Wise would show just how little the supporters mean to the club. I for one could not stomach his appointment. I did not think that we could sink any lower.
We were poor yesterday, as we were at Millwall last season. However, in the cold ight of day, knee-jerk reactions do not solve anything. He was not sacked last season and should not of been sacked today.
I wish Parky the very best wherever he goes. He did not deserve to be treated in this way.
