Who does everyone else want to be the next SCFC Manager?
How about we all stop calling for gannon to return and give Wardy our backing for the next 2 crucial homes games!!! You never know Wardy may just surprise some of you and want it full time!!!
A management team of Harry Houdini and Steve McQueen, with St.Jude as chaplain.
How about a hero from the 90,s..... ONE IAIN DOWIE..... THERES ONLY ONE IAIN DOWIE...
Or Julien Dix from the same game perhaps
Julain Dicks? "Simpson Out" might have offended some, but could you imagine the furore if Mr Dicks got the same treatment....?

Apparently Thompson stuck by Simpson to the last and has resigned from the board over this. Shame, as it was comforting knowing we had a chairman who really knew how to run a businessI'd rather not have Gannon back, I said it yesterday but he's too big a fish for this small pond. He'll want his own way, his own special contract and he'll want to be involved in the running of the club at far higher level than a manager normally would. He has the know-how for that, but thanks to his volatile temperament there's a good chance he'd eventually tear the club apart. We need stability and cool heads right now, Jim isn't big on either.I'm not sure Wardy is really a manager and I'd hate to lose a really great coach because if things don't work out, but he'll certainly have my support. The bookies favourites for the job are Dave Penney, Andy Preece and Darren Ferguson. Ferguson is proper pie in the sky stuff and I just don't think Preece has what it takes to keep us. Penney could do a job, but his record has been patchy since he left Donny.
Steve Eyre is being linked to the job now: http://www.skysports.com/story/0,19528,11750_6636182,00.htmlI think there could be something in this. Usually if a credible, low profile coach is linked to a managerial vacancy, it's for a reason.
I bloody hope not. He's not been involved in football at this level, big no no for me, I'd sooner stick with Wardy. Gary Ablett did some good things at Liverpool, look what happened with him.
