Panic Over - Tevez Stays...for now

Tevez withdraws his transfer request.

However, this story will enivitabley emerge again later in the season.

Id prefer to hear Carlos Tevez come out in person at a press conference and explain his actions directly to the fans.

He is made out to be a player for the fans and cares for the club and gives his all.. come out and tell your side of the story, through an interpreter if need be, but not through his representitive or a submitted statement...then he's always got a get out to say it wasnt him that said it.

So who has won this round then? Round 2 scheduled in the summer.

I think you'll find City fans amongst the posters here that if he starts scoring goals for you anything will be forgiven same as that other sh88888er at Utd.
Not what id do i have to admit. If i was a city fan id boo him til the rest of the season. Whilst the rest of us are struggling to keep our jobs these footballers have no understanding of the financial crisis. This was a cynical bid to up his wages. Good for City they didnt buy it-however im perplexed they havent taken any disciplinary action as he has disrespected his manager and brought the club into direpute. This incident will come back to haunt City and football in general. Next up is Balotelli-he will have noted what Tevez got away with. Question: why is he still captain?
