so watch this space. One of the most disappointing aspects of this sorry episode is the complete lack of transparency from P.A.F.C..Today or the past week nothing on the club website to inform the fans. This has to change-clearly some kind of rescue plan is being formulated by P.A.F.C. the club has a duty to keep the fans posted, and don't give us "for commercial reasons,we cannot comment at this time" stuff. If the board expect me to part with money this Sat at Home Park-TAKE DOWN THE WALL OF SILENCE.

As it stands i doubt we will go into admin, instead the board have a masterplan! Sell our best players instead. So you have to ask yourself, does 10 points deducted do more damage than saying goodbye to the likes of BWP and Noone?

Fact is though Pilgrim-Mike nobody knows where we would be if we had done anything differently. We could have been relegated just the same and maybe we would not be here at all with debts nobody could have done anything about. At least the debts are not overwhelmingly high compared to some clubs. Shef Wed were many more millions in debt than us albeit they are a more attractive proposition than we are in terms of future investment. We can speculate on what might have been for fun but that is all it would be, speculation. As others have said, all we the fans can do is continue to support and watch this space with fingers crossed.

Compared with the debts most clubs run up this is nothing at all. I am delighted that they have time and a possible saviour. This is not down to profligacy, but due to a smallish club living on the edge of the UK mainland and struggling to get the support it deserves.

It is still the largest city in England never to have had a topflight football club, because people just don't go to watch it. When I lived in Devon I frequently attended, and was a regular when I lived in Plymouth.

I am sure iy will all sort out, i think most fans would want the club without BWP and noone rather than 10/12 points deducted.
We will lose them no matter what i think, so best sell them and keep the points or we could lose the points and players, that will be a disaster.

I can assure you, that will be the tip of the iceberg.

When we went under, it was for 300K, which after closer scrutiny became 6.7M!

Pompey's debt was apparebtly 11M, then it was 24M, then 36M, come Adminstration, it was 130M!

Been some constructive, thoughtful comments since my initial post, thanks particularly for the supportive thoughts from other clubs fans.Am aware the club to some extent have to be confidential in their press releases, must admit my first post was partially provocative and partly borne out of frustration.

As posted earlier by owlonwheels we have been in the same situation as you guys !!!!!
The silence from our board room was soul destroying at times, some fans think it's good and proper to keep things behind closed doors while "in talks with new owners/investors" but it's the true FANS that suffer and crave information and assurances from the board about the future of YOUR club.............or if their is to be a future at all !!!
I wish you all the luck needed for a positive outcome
no fans wish this situation any football club

Good luck from the owls fans

Transparency eh!
I wrote this yesterday

Supporters are the real shareholders of a club. Our money runs the club. So the clubs finances and going's on should be transparent.

Answer these:
1. How much did we get for:
SEB
Chuck
Peter H
JMackie
2. What 'pay-off' did Luggy/ Kevin S get ?

3. What is the wage structure. Not names but just how many in a bracket.

4. How much TV money did we get in the last 3 years?

On and on

I think you are still forgetting 2 things Mabetony.

1) 90%+ of contracts routinely contain non-disclosure clauses - and I'm sure you'd insist on one if you were negotiating a contract on your own behalf. The other party isn't going to waive those - and you wouldn't either - just to keep a bunch of fans happy.

2) If you had that information, there's be absolutely nothing you could do with it. Nice to know but no need to know.
