The snow might have claimed a few victims tonight, but dare I say the big ones remain?

The Carling Cup quarter-finals are still on, as is the Johnstone's Paint Trophy northern area semi-final.

Here's our schedule...
Arsenal v Wigan 1945
West Ham v Man Utd 1945
Carlisle v Sheff Wed 1945

So get the fire on, put your feet up, and enjoy what promises to be a hot night of football.

Let's get this puppy cooking.

Bottom-of-the-Premier League West Ham's deserved victory, then, against their top-of-the-table opponents, comes as something of a shock

Also, Man U, 7m for Bebe looking like value now?

Don't go there mate. Remember what Nani did to you last season and Ronaldo before that. These pesky Portuguese have a habit of coming good and then end up violating your mob.

Ferguson wont like that 4-0 drubbing. Its great to see Man U get a kick up the butt from time to time. Well done West Ham.

Makes no sense mate!

What you trying to get at? Not seen much silverware at City recently. By recently I mean nearly 3 decades! Jog on pal!

I can only assume Fergie came into this game with the intention of losing and concentrating on more important competitions by the fact he put Evans in defence. An absolute recipe for disaster.

i am glad we are out. micky mouse cup anyway. utd are the best team in the world and will be winning the important trophies this season.

its obvious by the team we put out that we didnt want to win.

Evans was indeed shocking! To be the only defender to let Carlton Cole score 2 goals in a game ever is disgraceful!!

Anderson ran around like a headless chicken and gave the ball away loads. Giggs' touch and dead balls were embarrasing! Why is it that as great a player he is, he can't put a free kick or corner past the first man and on a team-mate's head?

Well done the Hammers though, thought Obinna was superb! I'm sure Rafa could do with him back at Inter right now but he'll probably swap him with Babel at the end of the season! ;)

i'm not surprised by the wholesale team changes from SAF with a tricky fixture at blackpool followed by valencia then arsenal & chelsea all in the space of 15 days! i wouldnt be surprised to see a pretty much 2nd string side start against valencia!
still a pretty embarassing result tonight but credit to west ham, hope you can go on and win it!

Fair pleay to WHU for taking the chances they were given and as such they deserved to win.

In fairness the game itself was awful and i feel its more a case of how dreadful United were rather than how sublime WH played.

Evans was the stand out dreadful player since 3 of the 4 goals he was at fault for and to think he was once a promising young prospect!

Well don WH and good luck for the semi's
