1. Speroni is too good for this league
2. Davis was awesome untill that tackle
3. Utd support is a joke Palace out sang them from 1st minute, so fair play Palace fans
4. Referee was shocking, ours was no pen but to give them theres to make it 1-1 he deserved to be called anything from Garvan. That pen decision was terrible and clearly done it to level the game.
5. UTD at home to win just against a team 2nd bottom with 10 men isn't good, they had no ideas whats so ever and just kept crossing which is food and drink for Davis. Utd had no imaginitive play and will 100% struggle this year.
6. There defence were **** scared of Zaha who was world class for his age.
7. Palace fans don't panick there are worse teams around us, including Sheffield Utd unless they sack Speed.
8. We were very unlucky today, but we have to keep out singing the opposition fans and get back up for our defence and we will be fine.
9. I'm out to drown my sorrows - Sheffield congratulations on a hard thought win.
10. Keep faith we will not be relegated.

not a very objective thread so far this one is it?

What I saw was a game of football that had a lot of incident and some nice passing football on display.

I think 2 of the 3 penalties were unjustified, one for each side. I think that the sending off of Garvan was entirely his own silly fault for not controlling his mouth - no matter how right or wrong the incident was that led him to be annoyed.

I think Sheff Utd dominated the game from start to finish, against 11 men on the pitch and later against 10 men on the pitch. In some ways I think the win for United may have been easier had Palace kept all 11 on the pitch because going a man down meant their change in formation was harder to break down.

I think Sheff Utd looked clueless as to how to break Palace down for most of the match. We only had one trick and we kept doing it time and time and time again. To keep whipping crosses in - which ex Blade, Claude Davis, was superb in dealing with.

I think Bogdanovic's tackle was a disgrace and he was rightly sent off for that.

Did Blades deserve to win overall? I think there is no doubt whatsoever. They were the best team out there by a mile - but they'll need to be a bit more inventive than that if they are going to put teams like Palace to bed and take the points week in week out.

Look at the stats - 61% possession shots on target etc. Referee was a shocker, neither first half penalties were right - Garvan unfortunately deserved to go. Second half good performance from both sides - blades good going forward and palace defended well. Palace should survive United will finish in the top half. January window is important for the blades

That's what you get with grapes out of season... Sour ones...

To be fair, Palace played well and made the most of the 10 man disadvantage by using the fast wingers to stop our fullbacks getting forward and outnumbering you in midfield.

To say the battering was purely down to the sending off isn't 100% true as we were battering you before your dodgy penalty, 6 corners I believe...

Yes, both pens were debatable, but then the ref also missed a blatant shirt pull and another handball in the box. Your boy deserved to go for being silly and swearing at the ref when he'd just booked him for dissent..

Agreed that Speroni is too good for Palace. Not sure he's PL class though.

I also agree that our defense is dodgy, hence why we are where we are as 95% of goals conceded this season so far have come from defensive mistakes.

Not sure why you couldn't hear the Blades' fans maybe you were "thinking" too hard about the defeat, but if we were a bit quiet it's not surprising when we were one down, at home to the worse team in the league is it...?
