In a few hours when practice results start coming in , we will have a better idea of how the drivers are going to perform in Brazil. the wet practice will help with the set up for quali but not for what looks like a dry race in prospect.

Quite honestly, right from the 1st. race, it was obvious this title was going to be Red Bull's to lose, although they did make a valiant effort to do so.
But the interesting question is, "Is this going to be the second year in a row, that a 'golden oldie, snatch's F1's most coveted prize from the cluches of the 'young bloods'.
Button last year, Webber this year?"

smiley It's going to be an interesting day tomorrow, with the track being wet and so Sat morning practise is essential. I am worried about Alonso's engine, and Vettel's too, both of them have pushed hard and are going to be racing with engines that are approaching the end of their life.
There are four cars I think that do have a fresh engine to use and the highest up the tree is Reubens. I watch with keen anticipation.

FIVE-WAY BATTLE
1 ALONSO 231pts
2 WEBBER 220pts
3 HAMILTON 210pts
4 VETTEL 206pts
5 BUTTON 189pts

If Alonso wins in Brazil, he will be champion unless Webber is higher than fourth
If Alonso is second, he will be champion unless Webber is higher than eighth, Hamilton higher than fourth or Vettel wins
If Alonso is third, he will be champion unless Webber finishes in the top 10, Hamilton in the top four and Vettel in the top three
If Alonso does not finish on the podium, it will go to Abu Dhabi
Button can only stay in contention if he finishes first or second but is out if Alonso finishes in the top six or if Webber is in the top two
Vettel must beat Alonso on track to stay in contention

yikes
