I think if he gets the games, easily over 20 !The lad is just a pure class striker, I love the fact the he looks dangerous the whole game and his pace is frightening !!

I think we need to clam down on Chicarito and Rooney. Both are important to United and to say Rooney should have been sold is just silly. Chicarito can be rested at times so he doesn;t burn out in his 1st season. What it does mean is the United forward line now looks dangerous again and if we can sure up at the back we should see more wins instead of draws. Some 'ifs' here but if Berba, rooney and Chicarito can all play to the best of form we can be a force again. We can have good rotation and keep everyone fit for the business end of the season when the games come thick and fast. I think Rooney could even go back out on the left in some games as he did with Ronaldo. Well done to Obertan and Bebe as well. the future is looking good but it will be a few years before we see the finished articles - Well done SAF!

I heard they have Chicarito on the back of a shirt as it's easier than putting Hernandez, but they have the same amount of letters? I don't care however, this kid looks great.
He looks like a very exciting player with some true potential and he is playing some really great football but I agree with FLETCHHERO and try not to over-hype him just to knock him down at the first chance and wait to the end of the season and I would even say the end of the season after to get a good look at him as a player! Good luck to the boy as the rest of the team seem to be very honest in the way they speak highly of him!
Hernandez is awesome. People keep going on about don't over hype but we are allowed to be excited, its not just one goal he's scored like Macheda, this lad has scored away to Valancia to get us our first away win in Spain since 2003, 2 goals away to a tough crowd in Stoke and now this. He's always scored in the Chachirto shield at Wembley v Chelsea and against Holland, Argentina and France for his country. Not bad for a newbie. I know he's not a 'kid' as such but he's fresh on the scene, only 1 Mexican league season behind him really and a bit of the World cup as they kept playing those old has beens like Banco et al. He's doing alright. As said though, depends on if he gets the games. Players develop better at lesser clubs because they do get the games. Look at Spurs, if we had bought Bale at 17 or 18 I doubt he would be as good as he is now as he wouldn't have played that much.
Do you think it may be a bit premature to think we may be looking at the new baby faced assasin?
bale had 12 games in his first season and several times fans called for him to be dropped after recording 24 games without a win.so r we lucky or unlucky to have so many players trying to break through
the stench of pesetas is already drifting north from mordor and the dark lords of madrid and barcelona.probably because his native tongue is spanish they will claim they taught him all he knows like fabregas and pique.all we can do to stave off unwanted attention is to keep him enjoying his time at united.not just winning but winning with style and beauty.with carefree ease with no fear of failure.chicharito has this in abundance as witnessed in the world cup.to furnish a winning side with players from the youth squad happens maybe once in a lifetime. so if rooney has loosened the purse strings to enable saf to keep players like hernandez from the evil clutches of barca madrid we have to congratulate him.and I havent seen impudence and coolness in the box since dare I say it BESTY
I think he'll probably score as many as Lampard this season
