I hope I speak for all spurs fans when I say tonight's game sums up why we support this team. I know we lost but never a dull moment when following this wonderful club!

Same comment, Uninventivename. Would respect you comment if 1] it made sense and 2] you completed your profile to show where your coming from and your true allegiance to Spurs [haha]. We've won more Euro trophies than many and, reading your comment remember that when you say silly things, they tend to rebound and go straight up your donkey. Why not provide an article that is constructive, invites sensible comment and adds something to life ... and why not do it on the Arsenal Board - it's usually bereft of anything like that! haha

Are you commenting on my massive yawn or everything that came before it? Everything else on that post was someone else's post, the massive yawn was my response to it. If you want to know my opinion on the match then read my post I made on this thread a bit earlier.

And sorry if I'm not cool enough to complete my user page. The fact that I only ever really post on the Spurs board should probably show who I support but I don't really care if some internet randomer doesn't know where I come from.

my apologies, Uninventaname. I clearly 'had a mental shut down' before reading through Nibs monolgue and the comment should have gone to him. Sincere apologies. I do think that profiles completed by all, probably - just to cover those who only inanely WUM - as I probably did in my comment, come to think of it .... hmmm ... Anyway, hope you can accept my apology ...

Yeah, no problem, just not nice to have someone think I'm attacking Spurs!

Your right we did lose. I dont think any Spurs fan expected to win that game first of all.

Yes we got mauled by an exceptional Inter team in the 1st half, very crisp passing and we made it easy for them with our poor defensive display. But we showed good character and didnt give up - the 2nd half shows that.
To have 10 men for 80 mins against a world class team is never going to be easy.

It kind of reminds me of when Barcelona completely destroyed you in the Champsion League last year, or should i say Messi - what was it 4 - 1 and you had 11 men...that is laughable.

Also its fine you naming some of your young talent - wow. only time will tell if they cut the mustard, no dount they will get sold on as always.

Finally - Chelsea and depth...what depth do they have now, unless my calculations are wrong they have lost from last season: Deco, Ballack, Belletti, Carvalho, Joe cole and they brought in...yossi benayoun.

that is brilliant depth there i must say.

Bales hat-trick saved a mauling from the press for Spurs' performance last night.

Shows what a great player he is when he can take over the game all by himself when others had clearly given up or are not good enough.

Inter relaxed at 4-0 and wont make the same mistake again, especially if Spurs are closer to full strength at WHL.

Great game to watch and a good scoreboard result for Spurs without a good number of quality players missing.

@Gassing Pirate

- Did you see the final goal? Lennon made a great run before laying it off for Bale to finish. Clearly Lennon hadn't given up and was plenty good enough to give this world class defence a torrid time throughout the game. He looks to be coming back to top form and what a superb wing partnership he and Bale could turn out to be...teams will not be able to double up and mark either one out of a game if they are both playing like that consistently. If only we had that kind of balance at the back!
