Live - Saturday football

comment on the article

It's been a strange couple of weeks hasn't it?

Football in the courts, Liverpool financiers on the front and back pages, and England more than a little bit rubbish in the Euro 2012 qualifiers.

So, isn't it nice to get back to proper domestic football once again?

news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/foo...

It's a bumper day in the Premier League...
Arsenal v Birmingham
Bolton v Stoke
Fulham v Tottenham
Man Utd v West Brom
Newcastle v Wigan
Wolves v West Ham
Aston Villa v Chelsea (1730)

And Football League Macca will be bringing you all your lower league chat on top of all that.

Let's get this puppy started.

United have only won 3 games all season.

That's the same as Stoke.

Stoke will go ahead next week though.

Home draws. Those are the points that will decide if you win the league title or not. Home games should be your 3 point bankers if you want to contend for the League title.

We have cost ourselves this season, very preventable errors which without we would be top. As it is we are not but Chelsea look beatable United beat them, 2nd string Newcastle did as did City. If we can sort ourselves out we will be up there but at least Chelsea are fallible.

Barsa aren't going to do much this year and are a seriously overrated team with an irratic manager.

Never have and never will rate Guardiola.

His first major transfer tells you everything about him.

Signing Ibrahimovic for Eto and 40 odd million. Ridiculous.

There you are again grasping for the Charity Shield.

It's so sad.

I'm trying to talk reasonably, you seem intent on calling people sad and pathetic etc I have said you have done well I have mentioned nothing about easy starts etc. Just pointing out that its been shown you can be beaten which is true. Just like unfortunately its been shown United in front is no longer a comfortable position.

If Man City win tomorrow - will people take Man Ciy seriously?

Also West Brom are my dark horses for a Top 7 finish!

"Missed opportunity for Chelsea. Shows how toothless they are without one of Drogba and Lampard."

Yeah, good thing there's United who showed us how to capitalise when your rivals drop points, against Bolton.

United also dispelled the myth today that they are a one man team. Since Ronaldo left they have been a no man team.

Don't see how United fans see this as a let off. I would rather have taken a draw away to Aston Villa than a draw at home to West Brom. Even at the start of the day you always knew Villa away would be difficult, especially for Chelsea who see it as their bogey ground and considering the absences that we had. We have won there only once this millenium. Lost twice in the last three seasons, one of them being just last year.
