Battle of the egos

Steve Parrish thinks "Lorenzo will be Mr Sensible and just do what he needs to do to get the title wrapped up".

Well, that's all he had to do in Japan, until Rossi decided to nick that podium place. I'm fully expecting the red mist to descend again, as the battle is as much in his head as on the track, possibly ending with the worst outcome for Lorenzo - a DNF as a result of mixing it.

Whatever happens, the Rossi and Lorenzo show is the only game in town, and it hardly matters where they finish, only the order, and with Spies, Stoner, Dovizioso and Hayden finding some pace and then Pedrosa back, the remaining rounds should be well worth watching, especially as Lorenzo says he will be more aggressive with Rossi once the title is his - can't wait!

I agree with Parish on this one.

Jorge is no fool and he knows there is another 3 rounds left after Sepang.

I think he'll just do what he needs to do in Sepang, get the title wrapped up and then after that, hopefully, we might see some fireworks.

The battles will only happen if Rossi sticks around.

If he decides to have the shoulder op early and miss the last two rounds, then it only leaves Phillip Island for an all out attack!
