Live - Wednesday's Carling Cup

League Cup
by Jonathan Stevenson (U1987325) 22 September 2010
comment on the article

No night of football can be dull if it's got Manchester United, Chelsea, Liverpool and Manchester City in it, that's for sure.

The Carling Cup might not be top of anyone's agenda (except Brentford, you legends), but the big boys have shown enough times in recent years they do still take the tournament seriously.

There are four games at 1945 BST and another two 15 minutes later. Join us for all the action from about 1900 BST.

Benitez came to Liverpool as a good tactician but should never have been allowed to dabble in the transfer market, he might do alright again now thats out of his hands, but thats why hes left Liverpool with a team full of coffee tables...

He's probably the only one related to Liverpool who's still got his head up. But he won't care now."

That's all because of Mourinho's legacy though isn't it...

Well Benitez is gone, so what we're staring at is revival then, huh?

Scapegoating Benitez will not solve LFC's problems.
