New F1 venues

comment on the article

Which countries would you most like to see as new F1 venues?

My votes go to:

1/ Mexico. The challenge of high altitude racing would introduce a new dimension.
2/ South Africa. The African continent must be represented if F1 claims to be a true world sport.
3/ Scotland. The country that produced the best two British F1 champions.

First of all Mexico and South Africa would not be new countries for F1, they would be returning countries, and we cannot have a Scottish Grand Prix as we have the British round... I would love to see an Icelandic Grand Prix, and maybe a round in Poland or Finland.

The European Grand Prix could be in Scotland instead of the Valencia bore-fest.

1. Suzuka should be compulsory.
2. Nurburgring (Nordschleife) should be updated and amended to incorporate some of the best features of the track with some modernisation - A bit like Monza!
3. An artic race of some sort - like a desert race. Maybe Russia, Alsaka or someting similiar, a safe compromise would be northern scandanavia.
4. Eastern Europe / Baltic states

I would like to go back to the clasic europen GP's eg holand. old german, san marino, old belgum, brans hatch, ect. I dont think it herman tike's fault that the new GP's are boring since 2006 (see rules on f1) when they change the specs for airodynamics nobody can drive under a second behind a driver so they cant overtake(eg alonso/button monza and any other race can count)Hopefuly when they change the rear wing spc next year it give F1 more overtaking because thats what we all want!

I remeber back in the mind 1990's (1994 and 1995) There was a Pacific Grand Prix in Aida, on the TI Circuit, it would be good fun to see that back on the calendar, a breath of fresh air for the fans too, but the circuit was incredibly short, was it 2.3 miles??

If we were to have one in Scotland, how about Stonehaven? Birthplace of inventor of the pneumatic tyre. Where would F1 be without those?

doesn't really matter. If India aren't ready then there's still a championship.

Bring back Buenos Aires. Might as well nip over there while the teams are in South America
