Manchester United - Liverpool

comment on the article

So, with it looking increasingly likely that neither of us will win a trophy this season, we do battle on Sunday afternoon.

Which of us will win the first cup final of the season?

You always seem to turn up when you play us, even if you are going through a rough patch of form so sunday will be interesting...

If Nani, Berbatov and Scholes are performing, I can see us winning, but it won't be that straight forward...

To be honest, if I was offered a draw now I'd be delighted. With Torres on form we're certainly capable of winning anywhere, but I think more things have to go right for us to win that for United to win.

Additional Generic Football Comment - are you actually admitting that this is your cup final? <yikes>

On a serious note, I hate these games - as I'm sure you do... losing feels like being kicked in the ballls, and you try and avoid any telly or radio for days.

You're better than this!

He's not.

Ok so playing devils advocate, if this is our collective cup final, then our respective league positions in May is our collective league championship. That we've won all but one of for the last couple of decades.

I never enjoy them either. Winning gives you the best feeling in football, but the fear of losing makes them very uncomfortable games.

If we were 5-0 up 10 minutes left I'd still fear you coming back and beating us.

Having said that, though, if you offered me 5-0 with 10 minutes left tomorrow, I'd snap your hand off. ;) Hell, I'd snap your hand off for 0-0.

I don't think it's unreasonable that he's given Vidic the captaincy just to help him from being sent off against Liverpool again. Still a good man for the job.

Its foolish to ever underestimate UTD. To most foreign players on both sides its an important game, but to the british players its an FA Cup final.

The result will not decide anything at this early stage of the season but bragging rights which we got last year, however i would quite happily have swapped 7th for 2nd.
