Good crowd expected as kick off approaches. 3 points will help the Dons into equal first place but Southampton have something to prove to their new manager. Lets see what happens......

Us East Standers were finally decent last night...

IMO David Martin was MOTM, but of course, 2-0 against the Saints', never gonna get it..

"Wednesday night 7.45 compared with Saturday at 3 p.m..."

So what? Do you magically get more money from somewhere then if you happen to play a proper club with large away support midweek?

I was sitting just in front of heart of the noise at the shed yesterday; we were a little nervy from Sam's sub to Martin's fingertip save, and at half time it could've gone either way - Saints were a little more creative and controlling than we were.

However, Robbo re-organised the middle of the park and we came out into the second half with a little more emphasis on midfield dominance, and it showed in the end. Good stuff from fans and players alike, though Alby at centre-back bewildered myself and my company at the time...

The MK army is gathering momentum, bring your mates to the Rochdale game!

Not a good crowd, an excellent one.

2,500 down on the same fixture last season

Casual customers voting with their feet.

Yet another invalid comparison.

Gate receipts for cup matches like the JPT are shared after match expenses. Season-ticket holders are not included in the total and both clubs have to agree any discounted tickets for the match. I can't see why Southampton would have wanted to discount as they were a proper club with a rich owner who was still alive then.

The league game you mention isn't subject to any such restrictions. The League attendances Winkelman announce include all the cheap and massively discounted season-tickets and marketing gimmicks (2 for 9.50 LOL!) in order to try and make the move and club look like a success rather than the massive loss-making disaster it has been just to get a supermarket built.

You could always try comparing like with like as I did and that was 2,500 down on last season smiley

Pattern clear enough?

No?

Well it's a similar midweek vs Saturday pattern elsewhere, including in the BSP for example...

Tue 17/08/10 AFC Wimbledon v Histon Att: 3,126
Sat 26/09/09 AFC Wimbledon v Histon Att: 3,392

Tue 20/04/10 AFC Wimbledon v Tamworth Att: 3,015
Sat 21/08/10 AFC Wimbledon v Tamworth Att: 3,144

Some trolls would attempt to claim that night is day, while foaming away with their subjective bile...

It's a pointless waste of time feeding trolls though. Derision is all they deserve.

SG19 Cowshed, I would not bother mate, Clasy is just a WUM who has nothing better to do on a Sunday Afternoon then sit in front of his computer thinking what to write next. I apologise, Thinking is the wrong word to use, you need a brain for that!

How does barely 7,000 on a sunny September Saturday fit in to your delusions then "cowshed"?

I'm not sure what Wimbledon's attendances have got to do with anything. Wimbledon's football club isn't a supermarket property deal losing millions, playing well above their sustainable level and desperately reliant on many more casual customers.
