As a supporter of Glasgow Rangers I am delighted we earned a point at Old Trafford tonight. I know our tactics were ultra defensive but hey you have to play to your strengths to counter Utd's undoubted qualities.

I was delighted to see Berbatov not playing and also Scholes whom I still rate as one of Europe's top midfielders.

I know you will be feeling a bit fed up after this result but you know you will still go through from the group.

Thanks for the game and see you in Glasgow in November.

I certainly think Scholes and Berbatov would've made a difference. Both players are very clever and can play attacking football in slow paced games.

United are very much a counter and wing attacking team. Their strengths are in the power and pace. When a team parks the bus, or when a team slows the game down (Barca) the majority of our players struggle.

Scholes is one that can unlock a defence at any level. I saw him do it against Barca (and Milan where he flicked it over the defence for Rooney), he's the only one with the composure and intelligence to do so.

Berbatov is also a player that can create in tight spaces. We missed both of their guile last night.

Like I said, fair play to Rangers. Their game plan worked. It shows you can play possession football all day long but if you don't have the technique of a top playmaker you won't get anywhere.

Rangers drawing was a bigger mark against the SPL then had they lost.

Big blunder by the great man - this was an easy 3 pointer and bearing in mind the lack of depth in the squad (he may say otherwise)I think Utd need every 3 points they can get

if rangers went down and played attacking football, they would have been lambs to the slaughter. they played their game defensively and it may not be pretty football but a point is a point. what do points make? Prizes. Anyways, united will get through even though they couldnt get past the 40 year old bus driver <laugh>

"Why is the performance being labelled by some on here as disgraceful and that we should be ashamed?"

Because the majority of United fans are spoilt pr**ks and can't take a draw let alone a loss. Sad but true.

Fair play to Rangers. They came for a point, they stuck to their game plan, and they left with what they came for.
To Rangers it will feel like a win, but as a United fan, to me if feels like a loss.

Man. U. looked very flat and could have lost the game near the end. Ferguson was obviously looking past Rangers, and saving his "real" team for the Premier league game this week-end!

Do Man. U supporters get a discount price when their first team is not put out on the field? <laugh>

I'm a genuine neutral and I always try to be objective but you are correct.Manu fans are a bitter and childish bunch; many of them seem to have no real passion for the game in general.
