Korean GP - is this a goer or not?

Formula One

With the FIA revealing that "a lot of work remains to be completed" do you think the Korean GP will actually take place in October?

According to circuit promoters the venue is "90% complete" - but with the final inspection barely a fortnight away they seem to be fighting against the clock.

Gusset
you know I think Tennis or Golf would be a better sport for you to follow. This F1 nonsense isn't for you sadly.
F1 drivers without experience, lol,

It's ludicrous to add a race to the calendar when the circuit doesn't even exist.

Both Barcelona and the Hungaroring were in a worse state when they hosted their first GPs.

And look at Dallas, the track fell apart.

You used to have to have been very successful in other classes before you were allowed in an F1 car.
You'd then, if you were lucky, get a testing position, and only then, if you were any good, you'd earn your 'Superlicence' which allowed you to actually race.
Even those drivers who 'bought' their drives in teams such as Minardi at least had some sort of pedigree from lesser series.
HRT in particular seem to be recruiting from the local Jobcentre.

What 'experience' did Hamilton have when he started in F1?

A team assesses a driver and can usually tell whether they think they have the ability to drive in Formula One or not.

Some of course have something special, some will be are better than others, some will only ever be journeyman racers, some are little more than glorified test drivers and then there are the rich kids with big bucks behind them.

Errrrrrm ?
LOTS ?

He was Formula Renault UK champion back in 2002 he dominated, winning the championship with ten wins and 419 points to the two wins and 377 points of his nearest rival.
Formula 3 Euro series Champion in 2005.
GP2 champion in 2006 - GP2 supposedly being the 'feeder' series for F1
He'd tested an F1 car for McLaren back in 2004.

Mighty Gusset............

Sorry, I think we're at cross purposes here.

I was referring to F1 experience before taking over a top drive.
