Pardew sacked?????????

League One Southampton
comment on the article

Pardew has been sacked this morning. Who has made this decision? After a really good win to. Seems a bit strange, surely they must have someone inline to replace him.

Southampton should remember that they are in the THIRD tier of football, they may not like it but that is fact and sacking the manager at this stage of the season will not do anything to change that.

Big new stadium but still in the same division as Dagenham & Redbridge, Exeter City, Leyton Orient etc. New ground will not change that and its time that the people?? runnning the club realised that.

Why on earth does anyone care about this? Irrelevant little club.

The only thing that matters is who wins the Champions League. Who cares about all these silly leagues where everyone tediously plays 40 odd games?
Like little Liverpool then who coudn't fill their 45000 stadium on Sunday yet have fans all over the country and world and are no longer a part of the Sky 4.

A really stupid decision. We gave Pardew at least one full season and he got us promoted and he would have done the same for you. With respect to the fans he desreved better anyway than league one football.

He dont he deserves all he got and he struggled to get you up with all the advantages he had.
If you hadn`t got rid you`d of gone down Curbishley saved you ...he deserved better.
We got lumbered with pardew and he destroyed curbishleys work.

I couldn't believe it when I heard it. There must be more to this. Surely it cant be because they didn't win their first three games. If it is then it is a diabolical decision!!

I thought Alan had a great first season on the whole. He steadied the ship and took us to within a whisker of the play offs. He also won us the Johnston paint Trophy. The only reason we missed out on the play offs was because of the ten point deduction and that was hardly the manager's fault!!

I think the current regime need to take a good long look at themselves and try not to repeat the mistakes of their predecessors. Otherwise it will be the fans that suffer - again!!
