Inexperinced Kiwi's knock-out India for 88

One-day internationals New Zealand
comment on the article

With the likes of Vettori, Brendon, Southee, Bond all missing from the NZ side, you'd expect NZ to struggle in this tournament and sturggle against this strong Indian line-up. But, they have proved us wrong, a great performance by the Kiwi's with both bat and ball and despite being in trouble at the start of the innings they still managed to post a strong total of 288.

A great bowling performance, combined with poor batting from India resulted in them getting bowled out for 88, a sight that is so wonderful to see.

They were tough conditons to bat on under the lights but not to get knocked over for 88 against this young and inexperinced side.

Well done New Zealand and Ross Taylor for winning his debut match as captain, very well done and deserved.

I always laugh when I saw NZ players sweat to get a win. On the other side Indian players are taking it easy and pocketing big bucks. Even Indian players must be laughing at nations like NZ. Undisputedly, India practically own this sport. I don't get it what other nations trying to prove by beating India. All the players (from all countries) and all the cricket boards under the thumb of Sharad Pawar..............Take it easy guys...

Oh, how tedious. Another thread that descends into an off topic slanging match. Well done everyone, you are slowly ruining 606.
Congratulations NZ on a well deserved victory, and hard luck India - some you win, some you lose. Looking forward to the rest of this series, although I might avoid the threads on here about it.
