Chambers can win a medal at the Commonwealths.

The European final was a bump in the road. I don't think it means he is finished. He should be more motivated than ever.

Oh and on the Powell issue, pants he is out! IAAF are advertising it as Gay vs Dicks showdown now.

That is a seriously unfortunate mis-print!

I heard that Chambers is not allowed to compete for England in the Commonwealths along the same lines as his olympic ban!

I've not heard about that. He is only banned from the Olympics as far as I know but give the BBC commentators and UKA time and I'm sure they can talk someone into banning him lol!

"Hey - not a single mention of the fact that he will miss the Commonwealth Games in Delhi as well - poor reporting!"

To be fair, Bolt has always indicated that he wasn't going to go to the CWG....

Bolt said that he'd like to try the Long Jump or the 400m at the CWG. Looks like this ain't going to happen now. The CWG need to rack up the prize money to get the big names to compete. Maybe Laksmi Mittal can put up a $1million dollar prize for the winner (I suspect that Mr Bolt may suddenly miraculously recover). Don't get me wrong, I like Usain. But lets face it, money talks!

It's shaping up to be one of the finest ever 100m lineups at the olympics final at London 2012
