What will be your London 2012 highlight?

comment on the article

Hello, everyone. One simple question, really - which is the one Olympic or Paralympic event at London 2012 that you're most looking forward to, and why?

With two years to go until the Games begin, the rest of your thoughts on all aspects of the Olympics - the venues, the athletes, the cost, and whether GB can hold off the likes of Australia and Russia and stay fourth or above in the medal table - are very welcome.

Cheers!

Ollie

Hello Ollie,
I want to see a British trainer for your WC Track and Field team and for your National Football team. Not a Dutch or an Italian smiley! Imagine if they are successful it has been a foreign trainer which is responsible for that success! You are always so proud of being Brits. It would be a desaster, is it not?

By the way if you want more success over a long period engage German trainers ( if you do not mind about the Nationality!)!

See our National Ice hockey, Handball, Football , Field and Track , Hockey,Shooting, Swimming, the whole Winter Olympic Team and its different sport arts . . . . . . . . . and so on.

Finally give Angela Merkel a chance to become prime minister. She is far better than Cameron She will reduce your budget deficit from actually 13% in Great Britian on German level which means about 2,5%. What do you think about it?

It's disappointing they didn't put more money into the olympics. They should have put enough cash in to make it an all time spectacular, like Beijing. Then doubled it.

They've already trebled what they originally planned to spend. I doubt if it will end there either.

As for matching Beijing in spectacular who cares? It's supposed to be a sporting event not some grandiose gala.

I am hoping to see:
-GB coming 4th in the medals table
-A British football team winning the football tournament
-Andy Murray winning the tennis
-And either Usain Bolt smashing the 100m world record.... or a British runner winning the gold!

My highlight will be seeing Paula Radcliffe crush all contenders and win the marathon. It'll be the only event that 'Joe Public' [like me]will be able to go and watch ... mainly because the course is 26.2 miles long wah

Why? Have you already decided that all tickets will be completely unattainable for 'normal' people, even before any have gone on sale?

Don't believe everything you here in the sensationalist press and the negative fools that populate these boards. It's not going to be that bad.

Haha!

There will be tickets available galore!

It's only the big days in the athletics that sell out.

I have my name down in the hope of getting tickets for swimming and athletics but realistically by the time the hundreds of sponsors, sports clubs, locals, foriegn visitors and prawn sandwich munchers have grabbed their quota i doubt there will be much left, apart from the marathon! Seeing is believing tho
