Fabregas Future

Premier League Arsenal
comment on the article

The move seems to be getting closer day by day, although whether the shirt stunt is indicative of this is questionable.

I do not like how Fabregas is being continually quiet on his future however, it is disrespectful to the fans and the club, can he not just be honest? I doubt whether this would change any fee we would get for him.

Whether Barca are in a financial position to acquire Cesc is another question - bids such as 29m (at least 20m under his market value) perhaps show they are feeling the strain. I think if they offer 50m, Wenger should take the money because Arsenal no longer has the will of the player and he clearly wants to be elsewhere, and we could buy a top class replacement.

I wonder if Wenger has shortlisted any replacements should Fab leave. If he has, I'd hope top of the list was Ozil. Who do you think could step into Cesc's shoes?

Arsenal have probably seen the best of him, remember he was only a sub for Spain and is likely to be in the same position at Barca -unless others move on.

--------------------------------------------

Not true at all, he is very young and potentially the worlds best midfielder, Arsenal should keep him a season tell him hes free to leave to Barca at the end of of this season, and we will get his real value of around 60mil after an electric season in what is obviously an overhyped league - if not open a bidding war and send him to Madrid = Laaarvly!

Arsenal made Fabregas what he is today. However, gratitude is not an important part of way of life these days. Fabregas is a very good man and a great player. He has to think of his future. From this point of view, he should weigh up his move away from Arsenal. He plays great wih the Arsenal system. In the Spanish national team, he was not a regular starter in the world cup matches. While at Arsenal he is unique, he will not be so in the Barcelona team and may not get a game every week. A young man like him needs play regularly.

Fabregas must also be ambitious and strive to win trophies with the club that made him a great footballer and where he is needed far more than he may be at Barcelona.

Stay on, please Cesc, we need you and you need Arsenal for a few years more!
cheerscheers

anyone who would even begin to complain that Fabregas was a traitor or whatever would just be ridiculous. It's not like he put it on himself it was forced on him -.-

i think fabregas is worth 40-50 million....xavi wont be around for very long...max 2 seasons....fabregas is his ideal replacement....he can do everything xavi does...the only thing is that he is young

I wanted Spain to win the World Cup, and I am happy they did. But this shirt stunt is just appalling and stupid. It is disrespectful to Arsenal FC and these people (spanish national team) have no business getting involved in Arsenals affairs. And another thing, did these guys even stop to think that they are in the national team and not Barcelona FC. Seriously how did they other players who are not from Barcelona feel about this? Is Barcelona the same as the Spain national team?

I thought the win was supposed to unite that country. It's interesting that one club is already trying to take full credit for the win.

i have read on here that Fabregas should go back to Barca because they made him the player he is today.
I have never heard so much rubbish. I remember when he arrived at Arsenal and even saw him play in the youth team.
How on earth can anyone compare the Fabregas of old to the one now

Fabregas made Fabregas the player his now, not Wenger or Barcelona. He isn't saying anything on the matter because it would appear that he wants to go to Barcelona, but they can't or won't pay what Arsenal value him at. Stalemate. I imagine Wenger has bought another year from Barcelona a la Ronaldo. Lets hope he has a great season at the Gunners if it's going to be his last.

I reckon fabregas should go becuase he'll just play bad on purpose to be realesed just like gallas to go to another club.
anyway he wont get in whilst iniesta and xavi are in the team im sure he'll get becuase he's a natrually gifted player he just needs to prove himself at arsenal more and then he can go when they retire

The young man has been a real inspiration to the Gunners family.Barca should not have their cake and eat it at the same time.Arsenal have the right to protect what is theirs.Wenger groomed that boy and he should not let him out before he has won a trophy as captain.
