If you watched him and many other South Koreans at the WC , you may have learned all you needed to know , he and our own man Ki were impressive to say the least.

He was the shaven headed guy at RB for South Korea. Looked capable of handling himself physically, which as we all know is unfortunately the prime requirement in the SPL. Slightly worrying that his contract wasn't renewed by Freiburg though. Worth a punt though, and might help Ki to settle in more.

His name is CHAR, not Du-Ri. In much of Asia, the surname precedes the first name. The Beeb should know that. The only reason the Koreans have their first names on their shirts is because so many of them have the same surname.
