England's moment of truth

International Tests England

They collapsed in a heap losing their last 8 wkts for 40 something to decent but not by any means demolishing bowling....INSPITE of a gem from Tamim

There are no more moral wins left for BD on this tour.

And an innings win is for the taking for Eng....
BUT if they were NOT to enforce a follow-on tomorrow...it would convince me that this Eng side would never rise above their mid-table status. It will be a moment of truth.....
the decision from Strauss to follow-on or not will give
away how positively this team thinks and what is their level of self belief !!

For a win against BD is a given....
In home conditions even a walloping of BD is a given....
But good teams, aspiring to reach the top set themselves a real-challange that stretches them a bit....within the bigger but already dead-contest like this.

I hope Eng come out positive in their moment of truth !!

Follow-on enforced, so I guess that makes England world conquering God-heroes today...isn't that right?

The scenario of self belief If I were England would be

--On this pitch ( when it is assisting bowlers more) this BD side can be rolled over for a 100 odd....

--Tamim is purely by law of averages not likely to get another 100 and even if he does...BD can still be rolled over for 200 odd as there were in the first inning , when the pitch was assiting bowlrs less than it is today or tomorrow....whihc is still an innings win.

So the MOST LIKELY scenarios for a confident side would be between 100 and 200 score from BD. ( i.e P50% or higher)

==>>So Tamim didn;t score

and the lower limit of the predicted range i.e 100ish is what BD is heading towards.

And ....IMAGINE Eng was thinking of batting one...thank the rain for SHOWING them what they are capable of

yeah coz the weather conditions are not contributing to the play today ...

thats why the decision was always going to be made based on cricketing issues and have nothing to do with self belief

you are a fool

==>.The one who was apprehending BD to score 400 and Eng not getting 200 if BD got 400... is proven the fool.

22-4 as it stands as I type has put the stamp of fool on the right one devildevildevil

anyone can be right after the event , thats why you are a fool .

==>> ha ha...you are making the point for me.....BD are 22-4 because of Eng bowling and not because of weather
