paul atherton you WUM.

Along with Chopra and Whittingham, Ledley is the only player who COULD cut it in the top flight.

Celtic want him, they are a much, much bigger club than Cardiff. Roma are now linked. He is an exciting young player who looks like he will end up as a Scott Parker type, with a left foot and the ability to play in more than 1 position. 6m was a good price, but it was refused and now he will leave for free.

As much as you may think PA is a Wum he is not too far from the mark. We turned down 6m for him and then sold Ramsey for 5m who is a complete class above.

Ledley a few seasons ago was playing well but for me not Premiership class. I am also a Cardiff Season ticket holder. He could however do a job at Celtic as Willo Flood has shown the SPL is no EPL.

I would value him at 2m at best. He would not get into WBA or Newcastle teams and based on the play-off final would not get in Blackpools team either! He is good when playing well but is too inconsistent.

I am disappointed to see him go for free but good luck to him. It was PR's fault to see him going for free. To see him going to the SPL is not a step up though IMHO which is what disappoints me, but I don't think a Premiership club is interested in him anymore (they have obviously seen him play this season! <ok>

the SPL wouldn't be a step up but a club the size of Celtic (or Roma) would certainly be

The fact that he seems to favour a move to the SPL shows his whole mindset - big fish in a small pool.

The Ledley deal will most probably be linked to Dave Jones coming up to Celtic. Sticking point is Mowbray, we owe him ,and his backroom staff, several mill, if they will accept installments then its Jones (and Ledley), if they want the full Monty up front then its Lennon.

im sorry but dave jones will not be going to celtic, as he is the highest paid manager in the championship on a milion a year something tells me he is quite happy with this contract, why go and manage in a mickey mouse league albeit celtic!! O yes and by the way i work with dave jones daughter and she keeps telling me how happy all the family is in south wales her mother hates scotland.

As you are an season ticket holder then you than most people should no that this season that Joe was playing with a hip injury before Christmas hence who was not playing well.
But since he had his operation he wall been playing well.

I would also say that it's Joe's agents fault for not turning up to the meet (what I hear) and probably trying to get Joe more money so he gets more (you know what these greedy Bast**ds are like)

I would like Joe to leave for a PL club just for a little compensation but he has more than helped the club and has not asked for higher wages (something rare).

It would just be disappointing if he leaves for Celtic (no disrespect) as he has stated he wanted to play in the PL with or without Cardiff.

i like ledley but he seems like just another player in it for money, yes he has stated that he would like to play in the pL but it looks like he wants to go to celtic for the wages, and its no secret that celtic plan to splash out for a new team after mowbray dessimated the old one.
regardless, i think anywhere would be a good nove for joe, he needs some kind of inspiration to do well, and he seems to have lost it at cardiff
