Live: Millwall v Swindon

League One

And so it comes to this, 90 minutes plus the prospect of extra time and penalties to decide whether it will be Millwall or Swindon who join Norwich and Leeds in being promoted from League One this season. Finger nails at the ready.

Millwall finished third in the league, heartbreakingly pipped to automatic promotion by a point by Simon Graysonís Leeds side, while Swindon finished the season two places and three points behind Kenny Jackettís men.

A quick glance at the head-to-head record suggests it could be Millwallís day. The Londonerís have won two and drawn two of the last four against Swindon. This season they drew 1-1 at the County Ground, before Millwall recorded a 3-2 win at the New Den three weeks ago.

But Millwallís play-off record is wretched. The club have missed out on promotion in the end of season tournament on five occasions, including defeat by Scunthorpe at Wembley last year.

And Swindon could have the edge if the game goes the distance after Danny Wilsonís side beat Charlton in a penalty shoot-out in the semi-finals.

So itís the Lions against the Robins for a place in the Championship, doesnít sound like a fair fight Ė but who are you backing?

My esteemed colleague Sam Lyon will be bringing you full live text commentary from 1400 BST, so get involved here.

Gutted my team didn't go up... but as I said before the game "Que Sera Sera". Danny Wilson's shown his class as a manager yet again, and I am so very proud that he is the manager of our team. Hopefully we can learn this, regroup and come back again next year!

Harry 'Bean' - is that a comment on the size of your brain? Where did that come from you silly little boy?

For your information we have won twice at Wembley since that day. We deservedly lost today to the better side on and off the pitch. No complaints.

A great season fopr us full of many highlights and we will start next season still a division higher than you.

sirmattsway - and you are a low kmow nothing airing opinions like that. There are some very decent people that support Millwall. And i dont take too kindly to people/idiots like you lumping everyone up and giving them all the same name as a tiny minority.
Apologise or i bust you.

Derek - there are some very decent fans for Millwall - but you seem to have a larger than average percentage determined to maintain the 1980's in 2010. A shame because you (decent supporters) don't deserve this - and I wish you all the best in the CCC. Worthy winners yesterday, not the best of games for the neutral.

Dreadful game!
Can't see Millwall surviving in the Championship.

Given the continuing issues with the Wembley pitch, why does the FA persist in using it for inconsequential play-off games?
