Bristol v Exeter - Predictions

English Exeter Chiefs
comment on the article

Exeter Chiefs will take a narrow three-point lead to Bristol's Memorial Stadium for the second-leg of the Championship play-off final on Wednesday night.

The Chiefs won the first-leg 9-6 at Sandy Park.

In front of their home support will Bristol prove to strong for the Chiefs, or will Rob Baxter's men be able to hold onto their lead and reach the promised land of the Premiership?

The Welly is great.
As a Bath fan who (until very recently) lived in Bristol and went to Uni in Exeter, I was split over who I wanted to win. Looks like a fun trip to the alma mater is coming up.<ale>

I note Mikey Phil's comments hinting that the RU in the Championship is more entertaining than that served up in the Premiership. He may well have a point, but let's be positive and hope that Exeter Chief's play will not have to descend into the attritional to survive in the premiership.

Well done the Chiefs, show 'em how to play proper Rugby next season.

Bris fan here

Was at the game last night (and got nicely soaked in the process) and whilst Iím very disappointed in our performance, I take my hat off to Exeter. You played both the conditions and occasion superbly well (your fly half was outstanding) and fully deserved to win. Best of luck next season.

Mikey Phil <laugh><laugh> On behalf of everyone please may I warmly welcome you to the Premiership where you will find scandals, inability to scrummage, and some very boring (but effective apparently) rugby from Leicester tigers! On second thoughts, why don't you just stay in Div. 1...

<laugh> Too funny !!!!
