Excuse Making Jenson Again!

Formula One
comment on the article

Didn't Lewis make him look a bit silly there by saying that the car felt good to drive and he had very little issues with it, in stark contrast to Jenson complaining about understeer, traffic...repeat to fade. He did suggest that Lewis would confirm the issues only for the complete opposite to happen. I hate to give the impression that I'm a Jenson basher but for me he makes far too many excuses when things aren't going his way when he just simply hasn't been good enough to deliver a solid lap.

The complaint about tyres made me laugh. "Shame we didn't use the hard tyre". Did he really believe that he would’ve got a better lap in on the harder compound? Delusional if anything. I thought the comments about Massa was slightly unprofessional too, although in all fairness Massa did block him.

There is a difference between raising issues with the car and saying shame we didn't do this and that and then proceeding to influence your team mate's opinion. I'm sure Lewis can speak for himself.

Canary, I must say, Button's whinging must be doing in people's heads at McLaren by now.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Good job he is leading the Championship then and has a 21 point lead over his teammate.
Yes Massa was moving slowly infront of him just like there were cars moving slowly in front of Massa.
However, to try to use Massa as an excuse when he was on a poor lap anyway is pathetic. He was doing worse on that lap than the best time he posted at the end of Q3.
I really like Jenson... He comes across as a very genuine bloke and seems a lot more human, down to earth and approachable than many of the other drivers. He made his mistakes early in his career and now seems to be a very mature, solid and dependable driver. He'd be an asset to any team.
On saying that, I do think he needs to learn to take his bad performances a little better than what he does presently.
Sometimes things happen that are our of your own hands in motorsport and I can appreciate the frustration when that happens, but it does seem as though it's never Jenson's fault. I really would like to see him hold his hands up and say 'I muffed up!' once in a while.
Jenson was indeed blocked by Massa who should have been given a penalty just like Vettel and Hamilton should have been given a penalty for their pit stop antics. It's worrying that a change of boss can have such an influence on the stewards decisions. Then again Todt is doing the better job of the 2.
Jenson does need to stop moaning, he's beginning to sound like a broken record now - just shut up and let your driving do the talking. If it rains tomorrow he has a chance of using his race craft to good effect again.
Hamilton is as usual, fast but unpredictable - anything could happen to him tomorrow - somewhere between win race and blow up !
