But do you agree? Who has been criminally neglected? Let's have your your thoughts.

"Spurs spent 40m as opposed to Manchester City's 200m in pursuit of the elusive fourth spot. "

Bare faced lie!!!

City have spent 200m since the take over in 2008, Redknapp has spent 150m in 18 months, why do idiots like Garth Crooks insist on perpetuating lies?

I have seen his interviews and he tries hard to be clever but comes across as thick.

No issue with Spuds finishing 4th because much as I loath them and their manager, they deserved it, so well done, but stop I wish the media would stop this nonsense that only City spend money.

Not a bad choice, but given Ashley Cole's scoring has helped Chelsea to the title I'd include him. I'd find it a close call between Gomes and Hart for Goalkeeper and REALLY can't understand how Bobby Zamora hasn't made it into anyones top strikers. I am aware Rooney, Drogba and Tevez have been awesome but Zamora has excelled in Fulham and taken them to unbelievable heights. Which in turn would lead me to putting Roy Hodgson as the manager, Harry is good and got them 4th but that's success for Tottenham?? Surely they should be above Arsenal to be really the best and most people can see Defoe and Crouch were awesome under Harry at Pompey and its no surprise that the demise of Portsmouth has come with the success of Tottenham. They would've been more successful if Harry hadn't tampered with the lineup so often.

The fact that there are only 7 English players mentioned in the whole of this article is a good indication of why the England International game is falling to pieces.

Lee Chung Yong should be in there for sure, no questions need be asked!

TEVEZ
The only player left from Garths team who's likely to start in the quarter-finals.
Gomes and Fabregas are also still in the WC but are unlikely to feature at all in Gomes case and Cesc will only get a run out here and there.

Just how over-hyped is the PL?

Ok, for me the team was (playing a 442) -

Hart - One of the main reasons for Brum's good season imo, consistant performer!

Johnson - Despite injury i think he did enough when he did play to get in

Dunnne - Showed why City shouldn't have sold him

Dawson - Quality performances, espcially near the end of the season helping spurs over the line

Bale - Quality season, even if the stand out performances did come when he was playing left mid

Milner - Consistant performer and a vital player for Villa

Lampard - For the sheer amount of goals he has to be included imo

Malouda - Great season, showing the flair that Chelsea bought him for.

Lennon - Finally putting some end product to his mazy little dribbles!

Bent - Amazing scoring record considering he's not at a top club (even if he was helped by a beach ball!!!)

Drogba - Top striking as usual from Didier, despite one or two more unsavourary moments this season

League Manager - Redknapp = Found the perfect system for his spurs team. Brought the best out players such as Bale, Lennon and Dawson.

Europe Manager - Hodgson = Managed miracles with a modest Fulham.
