Return of the mac.....

I believe that was for the Euro CW title too. Enzo could get a world title shot off the back of that!!!!!

Blimey! What a win for the big Welshman. I personally thought he should've retired after Ofalabi. Shows what I knew.

Well done Enzo. You're back! Now pleeeeeease knock out Herbie Hide!

Ray Jones - what rubbish. Macinarelli will always be found wanting when it comes to the top rated boxers as he showed against Haye, Ofalabi and Ledbedev. This Russian he beat was a novice with just 20 fights against nobody. The Welshman has a suspect chin and anyone who lands a half decent shot on him will always have him in trouble. His fight weakness is that he has no plan B and it is always the same style of straight lefts followed by an occasional right swing and that does not work against the top fighters, hence his dreadful defeats.

Good for Enzo. I don't understand why some have such a downer on him. He's a good guy and a good boxer (just not brilliant).
If people believe Haye to be a superstar then there should be no shame in losing to him. Losses shouldn't mean the end of someone's career if their still healthy.
You can't have it both ways, by fighters taking on good fighters it's inevitable most will accrue some losses. Enzo had a confidence problem after the Haye fight and I hope that helps restore it. Good on him.

For a start what part of my post is rubbish? seeing as I never even commented on how good I think Enzo is.

What you can't 'rubbish' is the fact that Enzo is Euro champ, having KO'd the hometown boy in just about the most most daunting venue imaginable. And that his now opens up world title opportunities.

IMO Maccarinneli's biggest weakness has been his mental strength. I also can never remember him ever throwing straight lefts!!

Fair play to Enzo. He went through a bad spell but he is back on track now. He isnt the first boxer to go through a bad spell. Pacquiao use to get knocked out by bums but he got his career back on track and so can Enzo. I wish him well. I met him last year and he comes across as a genuine nice chap

Who is training Enzo now? There were noticeable improvements in this fight. If he can improve defensively, he can be a real threat in the division again.
