Pardew is going to get the sack at the end of the season because he failed Marcus. Without the 10 point deduction you would only have been sixth and this is not good enough for your chairman. Marcus is going to make Deadly Doug look like mother Theresa if he does not get sucess. Your chairman is a ruthless hard calculation (and extremely sucessful) person.

Quiet down kinger, or us creditors shall pull the plug, don't think we won't, we'll do man, we'll do it. ;)
AP has made what appears to be a sincere public commitment to Saints and thats good. But it still didnt contain the words "I'm not leaving" or something equally definitive. So we dont know what his agent is doing in the background. If he's sniffing around for a big Job for AP then the roumours will continue. However It would seem that AP does still intend to be here next season so lets take that at face value and hope the rumours all stop.Hopefully this will help resolve a few of the players as well as the next job is to get a few contracts resolved. Top of my list is Lallana, his contract runs out in Dec 09, he could walk in Jan next year on a Bosman.
May I draw your attention to the following article published on a Reading Football club fans website in September 2003:Pardew Denies Rumours - AgainAdded by HNA? on 04/09/03Reading manager Alan Pardew has once again denied any link between himself and the vacant manager's job at West Ham United. Speculation has been growing for a number of days with Pardew becoming the bookmakers favourite to take the job. Some bookmakers suspended bets on Pardew taking the job with rumours quickly spreading this morning that an offer had been made. One West Ham fan site stated that Pardew was set to accept an offer from the Hammers and that Pardew was as good as on his way to the club. With various unfounded stories floating around, Pardew has spoken out this afternoon to say that he definately has not signed a contract with West Ham. Pardew denied that he was interested in the job earlier this week stating that he expected to stay with the Royals for a "very long time". Despite Pardew's denials about his interest in the job it seems he will continue to be linked with the position until an appointment has been made. Further rumours have suggested that West Ham may be in a position to confirm the new manager as early as tomorrow. Alongside Pardew, other favourites include Bryan Robson, Stuart Pearce, Paul Hart and Trevor Brooking.Anything Mr Pardew says should be taken with a very large pinch of salt.
I can't see any of our bigger players leaving in the summer. Most of them signed long-term contracts when they first came to the club, knowing that this is a long-term project.I think they're just looking forward to taking the club back to the top flight, as there is no doubt that at least half the squadi s leading championship quality :)Plus the only people saying they'll leave are the WUM's tryign to troll us....
"Top of my list is Lallana, his contract runs out in Dec 09, he could walk in Jan next year on a Bosman."Eh! Do you mean Dec 10 not 09? We are already 4 months gone from that month. Surely, Lallana could have gone by now!
"History...nice!" It may not be "nice history" if Skate get their come uppance! May 6th could be an interesting day for some.May 8th we will be watching Southend, what will the Skates be doing?
