Right first things first well done scarlets in particular that new winger joe who was excellant. Right now ulster were awful the yellow cards were just stupid and a couple of panicky forward passes which stopped tries. The most dissapointing point was our defence which was awful. Poor Jamie Smith had a terrible game. Though Issac Boss did well though. The referee was to say the least an idiot. Oh and nice shoes Timochi Nagusa. Thoughts?

It was a poor, sloppy indisclipined performance and there are no excuses for it. Our two winger were awful under the high ball and never got it in space. Well done to the Scarlets and while Tavis Knoyle had a good game he is going to come up against much tougher denfense than that!

You should watch this and see which Welshman recommends the penalty to Ulster for "ungentlemanly conduct".

What do you think the ref should have done in that situation?

In any event Law 10.4 (m) - sanction is a penalty kick

After it was brought to his attention Peter Allen made the right decision.

The linesman put his flag up too early, and the ball didn't go out. Realising he made a mistake, he had to think on his feet and found something to cover up his mistake.

Surely the penalty should have been where the ball landed then, no?

Seems like Ulster was penalised!

I did not see the game but I just watched the clip. The decision was correct, place of penalty could have been where the ball landed I do hope the poster above did not have George Clancy in the 7 Irishpeacedovebiggrincheers

I should have added that the referee failed to pick up on it. Good work by the TJ wherever he came from, hat off to him and the commentators on the clip should be ashamedpeacedovebiggrincheers

Penalty awarded at the place where the offence took place is the correct one.

Don't go on the Llanelli forum - there is a level of bile and mud slinging towards Ulster that would disgrace a soccer forum.

For a rugby forum it is shameful and does our game no favours
