Celtic moaning already

Scottish Premier Falkirk

See on the BBC site that Celtic called the SPL to complain about our pitch already!?!?! Who do they think they are, I mean really?

For the past two years, am I not right in thinking that OUR groundsman has won the award for Groundsman of the Year? This is the first season where the pitch has not been in a good state - something that I believe most grounds in Scottish football are suffering with due to the weather conditions.

Granted our pitch on Tuesday night looked really quite bad for the Scotland u-21 game, but there was never a question of having the pitch looked at by a UEFA delegate.

I think this is Celtic trying to be bigger than what they are again, demanding that the 'little' team be investigated for the pitch condition.

JOG ON Mowbary and co..... get the excuses in nice and early. God I hope we turn them over on Sunday and remain unbeaten against the Septic ones!! A dubious penalty with a sending off would do nicely!

why should Pressley say sorry for responding in good faith to what he thought was a correct and well researched newspaper article? there was no malice or lies on his part, something that cant be said of the ever increasingly desperate sounding TM and Celtic board.

Any sign of an apology over the accusations of the "wrongness" of Browns sending off? did he or did he not stick his head into Lafferty?

Hands up, anyone? Or are you all to busy looking up the SFA's phonenumber?

Who wants to bet Celtic get a very dodgy decision go their way today? Or two, or three...

I am going along to the game early today to sell Falkirk Fanzines outside the ground.

COYB and lets keep the 3 points in Falkirk tonight!

People have been moaning about motherwell's disgrace of a pitch all season. As soon as celtic complain (which I dont think they even did so) about Falkirks suddenly its a big news story and everyone cares?

Im sure the two time world champion groundsman is working very hard though..

Maybe because there isn't anything wrong with Falkirk's pitch?

Looks like one of the better pitches to me.

Celtic await Falkirk fans apology for believing the gutter press. You guys should be intelligent enough to ignore stories from sources.

do any of you remember the state of some of the pitches george best performed miracles on in the late sixties/early seventies??--good players can play on any surface--do celtic have good players?!?!?!

It's amazing no one at Celtic has complained about it however the majority of Celtic fans on here have done nothing BUT complain about the pitch.

In a period where we have had one of the worst winters in living memory is it little suprise our pitch has cut up and failed to grow. The fact is the pitch is strong underneath and isn't actually damaged, just weather surface issues due to frost, rain and too many games in a short period.

Do Celtic expect everything to be perfect in their green tinted world?

I think if you actually read the posts, very few are complaining about the pitch. they are complaining that the media stirring things up again (and pressley getting all hurt about)and printing a non-story about Celtic once again.
and the falkirk pitch is in a dreadful state, the falkirk fans I work with also complain about it. I'm sure that the main blame for pele's injury was the pitch.

Considering the paranoia stoked up amongst the Celtic fans by the Press thats a classic quote mate, well done.

We'll apologise when you lot stop believing the world is out to get you.
