The Mickey Mouse Cup??

Hardly anything to be proud of...

Pretty sure you scousers banged on about it a fair bit when you had your "quadruple" year, made entirely out mickey mouse cups.

Can't help but think that if it had been a Villa player bringing down Rooney, the player would have seen red.
One set of rules for cup finals, one set of rules for Man U, another for the rest.

Get over it. The Game was 11 v 11. Villa should have done much better but for o'neils defensive mentality.

Villa did not deserve to win.

Villa did not deserve to win 11 v 11 - completely agree

Vidic did not deserve to be on the pitch for 86 remaining minutes - why does this get dismissed so easily?

bobsy in football there is rule that states -
A player, substitute or substituted player is sent off if he commits any of the
following seven offences: (6 deleted)
denying an obvious goal-scoring opportunity to an opponent moving towards the player’s goal by an offence punishable by a free kick or a
penalty kick.

People are a tad upset the ref made the rules up as he went along.

I'm proud to say man u won the carling cup! so proud of the team, although I think Vidic should have been red-carded. Still, that's how it goes.

Yep... 'that's how it goes' on an all too regular basis for United though. <whistle>
