i think inter will be very cautious and wait for a whole to pick on chelsea, even tho chelsea will go for an outright win, which is wat they shud do.Mourinho will not go for the kill today,i have the feeling that chelsea home ground will inspire inter too a win there.....its just a feeling,i only will pray against it.

What about Sneijder's CL quality? Or Pandev, whose performed in some big games for Lazio (Eg vs real madrid?)

ITs worth a mention that Ferreria is apparently not on the CL list for Chelsea either so is ineligible to play.

I don't know, subsequently, who will fill in for him.

I don't really want to predict what the scoreline will be, but what I will say is that Essien is the only midfielder you have that can run rings around the Inter midfield. Zanetti can run all day, as can Cambiasso. We may not have the same creativity or flair in midfield as Chelsea but we are a whole level above, defensively, in my opinion. Just have to rely on the midfield and attack trying to help out with not getting our defense hammered at all game.

Not seen lucio play much then? He's an excellent 'reactive' defender as I've started to call him, built primarily on reflexes and the ability to react to the unexpected, as opposed to say a more tactical defender like Samuel, built on discipline, man marking, and anticipation

the lack of full backs is certainly going to be a problem area for us.
Ferreira is illegible and A Cole, Bosingwa and Zhirkov are all out injured.
I expect to see Ivanovic continue at right back and possibly Belletti at LB. There is always Bruma although I'd be surprised to see Ancelotti go for the inexperienced lad. However, neither Belletti or Ivanovic are brilliant going forward so we might end up being a bit narrow going forward

I think it will be a tight game and could go either way. If Essien, Cole and Bosingwa were fit I would bet on a Chelsea victory but without them we'll just have to wait and see!

If chelsea are to lose, it will definately show the shift of power has moved from England, however if Chelsea win I won't be suprised if at least 2/3 of the English teams are in the semi finals.

To stop chelsea i would focus on the counter attck with sneijder playing in a central attacking midfielder with inter playing a 4-5-1 with 1 CAM and 2 wingers with 2 dm staying back . this should make it harder to score against inter making it harder to lose the game . INter if i was mouriniho would counter attck hoping to get the ball to sneijder so he can relase the two wingers who today are against two inexperienced second choice or out of positiion wingbacks . by counterattacking inter could easily catch chelsea cold as the wingbacks get fowards and apply ppressure on a cracking terry . Stealing a goal is key for inter if they are to survuve as chelsea wont give much away at the bridge and will be odds on favourites to win with inter not being particularly strong aaway from home in the champions league (ask man u and liverpool)

i think using the word "slightly" is unfair on the path of morinho, i think he succeeded more than us eversince he left.
