Sven never ceases to amaze me - I reckon he'll be Hugh Hefner's replacement when he hangs up his dressing gown - other than that the only top flight club I can see giving him a job is Spurs - obviously he'll get sacked and live off that for another few years

QPR need a manager, so bound to be them surely

in prem only see sunderland or wigan, but can't see either manager being sacked or leaving so QPR has my bet

The rumour is that QPR are after Neil Warnock.
I feel that Sven has departed from Notts in a decent manner and I wish Notts all the best for the future.

I thought Steve Coppell made a good point on TV this afternoon. He said that the only loyal people in football were the fans and that managers and players alike will go wherever's best for them. Very true. All this badge-kissing makes you sick!

Where will Sven go?

To whoever offers him the most money.

He calls himself a gypsy- I call him a mercenary.

Why did Notts ever need a 'director of football' in the first place ?.

Decent keeper, holding midfielder and a striker yep.

Decent manager, yep.

'Director of football', really not sure.

Totally agree mate, action should be banned or if player leaves before contract up should be forced to re-pay club any previous monies already earnt. Don`t tend to see this action in the lower leagues but this usually where the more loyal players tend to reside.

It was to attract players and staff who would love to work with a world class footballing person such as Sven.

It was a statement and it raised Notts County's profile tenfold. Of course, that's all gone titsup now but in theory it was a reasonable move, Sven as a PR man.
