Cahill out for season

Premier League Bolton Wanderers
comment on the article

Bad news on the injury front Gary Cahill is out for the season with a blood clot in his arm.Shame as it will cost him a world cup place, and he would have picked up his first England cap.

Time to step up to the plate messrs Shittu and Obrien. Although Rickets did a solid job on Saturday so maybe its not all that bad.

I saw Bolton play Lincoln in the FA Cup this season. It was a comfortable win for you, but other than Cahill, Davies and Lee you didn't do much. For me Cahill holds a very fragile defence together and without him I reckon you'll go down, I'm afraid.

Get well soon Gary Cahill !, a really genuine guy and a great player. Feel gutted for him if he loses the chance to go to South Africa.

Best wishes to a good player who has lots of character. I hear that he wanted to carry on playing which shows his spirit.
He is young enough to get chances in future tournaments and to come back fully recovered.

Relegation is certainly a possibility, but our concern for this class player should be the overriding issue.

Bolton are not getting relegated this season.

Wolves and Portsmouth are already gone.

Burnley will fill the last spot.

So stop worrying and get behind your team- with the mountains of debt at Bolton you may well be the next Portsmouth- enjoy EPL while it lasts!

Boro fan in peace.

Really gutted by Gary's health problems and even more so as I'm a close friend of the family and know only too well how much he wanted to get to South Africa this summer.

They all know my thoughts are with them and I join all Bolton fans in wishing him a speedy recovery.

As a Burnley fan, have to be pleased to see a relagation rival lose a top player, but a shame about the circumstances, so all the best to Cahill ok
