Hope this is true, this is from the Mirror:

HRH Prince Mohammed bin Nawaf — the Saudi Arabia ambassador to the United Kingdom and Republic of Ireland — has opened preliminary talks about buying the struggling Premier League side.

He would be Pompey’s fifth owner in five months.

Although he is facing competition from an Irish/American consortium to gain control, it’s understood the Saudi Prince is in a position of real strength in light of his immense material wealth which would clear Pompey’s debts overnight.

It's funny how everytime someone agrees with me, someone like blackpool pops up and states we must be related/same person etc.

Kind of sums up the limited intelligence of a large group of footy fanssmiley I agree with HR you lot should stop mud-slinging, some of us actually prefer proper adult debate.

I don't want to be accused by your mothers of encouraging you both to stay up late.

Off to bed both of you, School in the morning. smiley

Ah, there goes Blackpool again, telling me it's my bedtime! About the hundreth time i've been told that on 606smiley

I can imagine HR's vision coming true; the Pompey fans making a final stand in Pompeys last game before liquidation, screaming 'Pompey till i die!' until the game ends, then leave the stadium forever.

The thought makes me want to crywah

Chaps, ignore this pillock. He/she's been WUMming on the West Ham page all night as well. Professes to be intelligent but it seems their only sense of enjoyment is trying to antagonise others. Not very intelligent behaviour and certainly not a good use of an intelligent mind.

By the way, in all honesty, I really feel for your current plight. Had many an eventful day down at Fratton. Initimidating at the ground, but some of the friendliest, most knowledgeable and loyal fans going. I felt bad enough about our club being in limbo recently, so empathise with you and hope it gets sorted quickly and successfully. You don't deserve this.

I think Harpov's only been a member for three days as they've been banned by the mods in numerous previous guises for being a provocative idiot.

There you go.

Seems Harpov's gone to bed with their teddy. If you play them at their own game, they find out they're out of their depth and go away. Bless.

HR. You seem to have found a friend at last. He seems to have the same childish mentality as you, so you should get on well.

Perhaps, but I agree with his 'following like sheep' part. Just how did ~Pompey go out of business; with 9,000 die hard fans clapping. Really good that. Think I would have been putting more pressure on the board myself. But, hey ho.

HISTORY REPEATING and LORD DUCK HUNTER spend their entire lives talking about Pompey lol and they are southampton fans!!!
