Can't help wonder when Bruce will choose a settled defence - cant but expect another poor result just really hope I am completely wrong and the attack get Benjani on early. Wigan know bruce as much as Bruce knows Wigan. Who will win the battle of strategy?

Bruce will choose a settled defence when everybody is fit. Mensah injured again, Ferdinand out, Hutton new in. This was an utterly pointless post having a go at Bruce.

cannot believe a comment from this WUM is featured on the match reports.

Shane on which ever individual included it in the match report - injuries have decimated our defence as all should know

I thought it a reasonable comment by Lorik, and Wigan have made some very good signings in Diames, Moses, Moreno, Diames, and N'Zogbia.
Bruce has brought in players who are too old in my view. Wigan had more posession, more shots at goal and I would bet on Wigan passing Sunderland at present progress.
