GUDJOHNSEN MOVE REIGNITES ROW

Premier League Tottenham Hotspur

comment on the article

"Tottenham's last-ditch attempt to sign Eidur Gudjohnsen on loan has reignited the bad blood between themselves and West Ham from last January's transfer window."

This is what gives football a bad name. The football fraternity is small and the demand for players from club to club is always going to be contentious. Its greed and each club's desire to have what the other club don't have. I cannot see what such difference it should make about him joining Spurs instead of WHU. Where's the bad blood? Club owners twist things with the language they use with the press and this riles the fans. Why not just say, we went for him but they closed the deal. End of story!

Its such an old fashioned thing this rivalry business. It's just a fact of life and its called Survival of the Fittest. It's a Darwinian theory and had Spurs been near the bottom they wouldn't have been chasing Gudjohnssen. All the London clubs are rivals and with the sun coming out now it'll soon be the cricket season and all will be forgotten.

how many players do spuds got? they've been buying at least 5 players every other transfer window in the last how many years. All this just to finish midtable, what matters is quality, not mare numbers......just watch across the post code

Why are so many Arsenal fans semi-literate and why do they all spout so much dross?

I reckon Golden Sullivan ((c) WW) are just upset because they paid for his Easyjet fare over. Levy should send them the 10 plus taxes to cheer them up.

Zola is expecting "good behavior" from Eidur. Hey buddy? Did you offer a him a contract or did Karren Bradey hold that up too? You snooze, you lose. That is what the free enterprise system is all about Zola, weigh all offers and take the best one

Looks like Robbie Keane will be moving on again? As it is, Harry does not seem to think too highly of him.

Havent seen alot of him in the last couple of years as he fell way down the pecking order at Barca and i dont watch the french league. However the guy has always been a class act.
Just annoyed Liverpool didnt get him on loan as we badly need a striker. Good luck finding room in the spurs attack. There bench is gonna be top heavy strikers me thinks.
