Right Rob1Tom has obviously gone off to primary school so we can get back to the theme of the thread. Chelsea were superb last night and have played as well in January as at any other time of the season. Despite a host of absentees for yestedays games ( Drogba, Essien, Mikel, Kalou, Boswingwa, Beletti ) Chelsea looked formidable. Barring any major slip ups Chelsea should be in an even stronger position come this time next week after games against Hull and Burnley.

Lampard not play for England? Why don't you do one Rob1Tom as you clearly have no idea what the hell you're talking about.
comment by MrBlueBurns (U7545281)posted 25 Minutes AgoRob1Tom = knobjockeyI shouldn't really have even given him the credit of acknowledging him.Still, I only saw the highlights but on MOTD Hansen described Chelsea as the best team to watch. Stick that in your pipe Arsenal fans. (I like Hansen when I agree with him )------------------------------------------Hansen also says that Liverpool will win the league, and of Man U you never win anything with kids - so how about a massive pinch of salt - he's a populist and will follow trends - the Gooners went to a ground where you lot got humped 2-0 and we were unlucky not to grab 3 points, plenty of life left in this one yet......
Nice to see Joe Cole getting back to form. I only hope Capello doesn't overlook him for the world cup. With Utd playing Arsenal this weekend we could stretch our lead again. All is good at the Bridge right now. Come on you blues!
the Gooners went to a ground where you lot got humped 2-0 and we were unlucky not to grab 3 points, plenty of life left in this one yet.....................................................And which particular game was that lease27 as chelsea haven't been beaten 2-0 all season ?I assume you are referring to the 2-1 defeat at Villa, hardly a humping though was it if you actually saw it. The 3 -0 win at the Emirates is probably a bit more relevent than an arbitrary game against another team. Now that was a humping. Not saying that Chelsea are home and dry but they are palying very well at the moment.
lease27You're right of course, about how much one can hang a coat on what Hansen says, but, I think the truth is that Chelsea are playing very well, very entertainingly and very productively.marklee22 is right as well though. It's unlikely that the pack will be as tight after this weekend, but that we are by no means past the post yet.Oh, and in our game at Villa, I think we could just as easily got points there like yourselves but was just one of those days.
Birmingham fan here.I have to say, your boys were class last night, a total class apart from my team. Not many teams this season have made us look like a side that's just come up from the Championship, but last night despite our great run, it was a reality check for us Brum fans! While i don't see Chelsea play every week, like you guys, and perhaps it sounds a little crazy. Have any of you, thought that Chelsea are a better side sometimes without Drogba?Good luck for the rest of the season. I hope you go on and win the league. All the best!
@ jingodan, chelsea only look more deadly with drogba. Nothing more, nothing less.wish u guys an european spot next year tho!
